IDENTITY & BELIEFS
First Baptist Choctaw exists to equip its members to fulfill the Great Commission through the Great Commandment.
We are much more than just a church to attend, but a community centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ. We're actively involved in seeing our city, our country, and our world renewed and redeemed by the Gospel.
AFFIRMATION OF FAITH:

We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Bible is the totally inspired and true Word of God.

We believe that Jesus is the virgin born Son of God who lived a life without sin and freely gave Himself as a sacrifice for us. We believe that He died, was buried, was raised again on the third day, and is returning in glory.

We believe in the eternal security of those who have truly been born again by confessing with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in their heart that God raised Him from the dead.

We believe that the church is currently the Body of Christ on earth, is made up of those who have truly been born again, and is equipped by God to proclaim and minister the Gospel to the world.

We seek to honor Him in all that we do and strive to lift Him up so that people will be drawn to him for salvation.

OUR PROCESS:
GOSPEL
We envision a church that is intentional about reaching, training, and sending out followers of Christ. To do this, we will seek to create environments conducive to forming relationships to earn the opportunity to share Christ. These environments provide the open door people need to begin their relationship with Jesus and get involved in the church.
GROW
In seeing to train our church, we will seek to provide avenues for followers of Christ to strengthen their relationship with Christ. These avenues will allow followers to learn more about God’s character and offer insights into key elements of the Christian walk such as, prayer, Bible study, etc.
GO
The end product of reaching and training will be sending. FBCC will provide opportunities for its people to serve at multiple levels: church, community, country and the nations through our Go Project. We will seek to explain the importance of missions and encourage our people to answer the call of the Great Commission through the Great Commandment.
